Gotta love Britney calling out Oprah
So Oprah Winfrey made headlines at the 75th annual Golden Globes last night for saying during her acceptance speech that, “Speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have.” “Your truth.” Not “the truth.”
The “truth” doesn’t depend on you one tiny bit. There’s the truth, and then there’s your opinion. So really, the phrase “your truth” is a self-contradicting idea.
