‘Guccifer’ casts doubt on Obama administration’s Russia hacking claims

I want to start with referencing an article on BREITBART in August of 2016.

I have some news for Hillary and Democrats—I think I’ve got the real culprit. It doesn’t seem to be the Russians that hacked the DNC, but instead a hacker who goes by the name of Guccifer 2.0. The original Guccifer famously hacked Hillary’s home email server, you might remember.
Here’s Guccifer 2.0’s website. Have a look and you’ll see he explains who he is and why he did the hack of the DNC.

Now, ask yourself: Why is Roger Stone the guy showing you this? This website isn’t hidden but of course our pathetic press patsies haven’t reported it; they just keep repeating Hillary’s spin.
Before I tell why Hillary’s dishonest blame-casting is so dangerous, let me explain a little more about why it seems like Guccifer 2.0 is the real deal. He seems to have set up a Twitter account back in June and then a WordPress blog to let the world know that he’d hacked the DNC.
Further commentary:  OK, so we see that BREITBART tried to alert the world that the press was not reporting the story on the Guccifer hacking.  However, Guccifer 2.0 not only hacked the DNC, Hillary Clinton’s private home-brew server, but he also hacked Sidney Blumenthal.  He started with Blumenthal, and then he went from there to Clinton.  He also had hacked Colin Powell at one point.
His story of how he did the hack is so interesting, and it was reported by FOX NEWS.  You have to give it to FOX, they are doing a splendid job of breaking away from MSM. Guccifer said he easily hacked Blumenthal by using information from the Net that any hacker has access to.  He researched Blumenthal and discovered his password.  When he got into Blumenthal’s account he then linked to Clinton’s account, which further led to Huma Abedin’s account.  He went on to say that there were 10 IPs from all over the world connected to her server.  Guccifer was recently extradited to the United States and is facing other cybercrime-related charges.

As in: “They got her on a Guccifer.” Guccifer is the nom de Internet of the Romanian hacker Marcel Lehel Lazar. Few people realize it, but the Eastern European anti-hero is why the world knows that Hillary Clinton maintained a private email server while secretary of state. This week he may have made Mrs. Clinton’s road to the White House a lot rougher. It’s a case study in why governments have rules about online security.
Guccifer’s specialty was hacking top officials and their relatives-with an eye toward mayhem and humiliation. He hacked the account of Dorothy Bush Koch and circulated photos of her father, former President George H.W. Bush, in the hospital. He hacked years of Colin Powell’s correspondence, including personal financial information. He went after FBI and Secret Service agents, senators and the wealthy. In March of 2013, Guccifer released hacked AOL email correspondence of Clinton cronySidney Blumenthal, revealing numerous memos he’d sent to Hillary while she was the nation’s top diplomat. Mr. Blumenthal had sent these notes to Mrs. Clinton at a private, nongovernmental email address.
Security experts tut-tutted about the risks, though the assumption was that Mrs. Clinton used the private account for the occasional interaction with friends or political operatives. It wasn’t until early 2015 that the nation found out Hillary was using the home-brew server to conduct every bit of her state business. But that timing is by the by. What matters is that Guccifer knew, at least by March of 2013, that the third-highest official in the executive branch of the most powerful nation of the world was using a private server. Does anyone think a man devoted to hacking politicians and Federal Reserve bankers would ignore that opportunity?
Further commentary:  You really do need to read the whole thing.  Guccifer, of course went on to leak all of these hacked documents ro WIKILEAKS.  Whether Guccifer 2.0 was ignored he is the reason in the first place that the world discovered Hillary Clinton used a home brewed server. LINK:  The world is indeed full of oddball hackers. The Clinton cyber-attacks began with Romanian hacker “Guccifer” hacking emails addressed to Hillary Clinton’s private account in March 2013. Guccifer apparently operated from a Romanian village, not from Moscow. Clinton recklessly continued to use her private account after the hacked emails were published by RT and by me. It was not until the New York Times revealed that Clinton used exclusively a private server almost three years later that the mainstream media started paying attention. If Hillary Clinton had admitted using a private server back in March 2013 and the media had paid attention, there would have been no cyber story left over for the 2016 campaign. Blame should go where it belongs.
FURTHER COMMENTARY:  The following is from the same article, and it is very important in understanding the actual fact that the Kremlin would actually benefit from a Clinton Presidency rather than a Trump. 
WikiLeaks revealed exploitable flaws in the democracy that the US holds up as an example, to Putin’s great irritation. The disclosures include:  US elections are decided by insiders who are doing the bidding of Soros, Goldman Sachs, and the Saudis of this world. The establishment rigs elections against “peoples’” candidates, Like Bernie Sanders. If critics complain about the enrichment of Putin’s inner circle, he only need rehash the antics of the Clinton Foundation. If we complain about his state-run media, Putin need only talk about the cozy relationship between the mainstream media and the Democratic Party.
As Putin followed the drip-drip of disclosures, beginning with emails supplied by the FBI, State Department, and Judicial Watch, he would have concluded that Hillary Clinton would enter office as a severely wounded US President. He may have begun to relish the prospect of Hillary sitting opposite him at the negotiating table.

Lazar spoke extensively about Blumenthal’s account, noting his emails were “interesting” and had information about “the Middle East and what they were doing there.” After first writing to the accused hacker on April 19, Fox News accepted two collect calls from him, over a seven-day period, before meeting with him in person at the jail. During these early phone calls, Lazar was more guarded. After the detention center meeting, Fox News conducted additional interviews by phone and, with Lazar’s permission, recorded them for broadcast. While Lazar’s claims cannot be independently verified, three computer security specialists, including two former senior intelligence officials, said the process described is plausible and the Clinton server, now in FBI custody, may have an electronic record that would confirm or disprove Guccifer’s claims.
“This sounds like the classic attack of the late 1990s. A smart individual who knows the tools and the technology and is looking for glaring weaknesses in Internet-connected devices,” Bob Gourley, a former chief technology officer (CTO) for the Defense Intelligence Agency, said. Gourley, who has worked in cybersecurity for more than two decades, said the programs cited to access the server can be dual purpose. “These programs are used by security professionals to make sure systems are configured appropriately. Hackers will look and see what the gaps are, and focus their energies on penetrating a system,” he said. Cybersecurity expert Morgan Wright observed, “The Blumenthal account gave [Lazar] a road map to get to the Clinton server. … You get a foothold in one system. You get intelligence from that system, and then you start to move.”
FURTHER COMMENTARY:  I FOUND THE BELOW TO BE VERY INTERESTING: For Lazar, a plea agreement where he cooperates in exchange for a reduced sentence would be advantageous. He told Fox News he has nothing to hide and wants to cooperate with the U.S. government, adding that he has hidden two gigabytes of data that is “too hot” and “it is a matter of national security.”
Further commentary:  Where is Guccifer right now?  He has been sentenced to 52 months by a US federal judge in Virginia. The near-maximum sentence under US law is meant as a deterrent to future hackers, the judge said. So it seems to me that Hillary Clinton and the Government have kept as quite as possible about Guccifer… right here at a time in which they want to point the finger at Russia to discredit a Trump Presidency.  Obama has taken some drastic measures toward Russia, and he cannot retract them.  I think he has jumped the gun, but that is par for the course, isn’t it.

To begin with I want to discuss the following in my report:  For Lazar, a plea agreement where he cooperates in exchange for a reduced sentence would be advantageous. He told Fox News he has nothing to hide and wants to cooperate with the U.S. government, adding that he has hidden two gigabytes of data that is “too hot” and “it is a matter of national security.”
Now, I want to quote the similar from the Fox report: 
Lazar told Fox News that he remains frustrated the FBI still has “70, perhaps 100 gigabytes” of his files that were handed over as part of an agreement with the Justice Department. In multiple conversations from his prison near Arad, Romania, Lazar stressed that he gave the passwords which were ‘confirmed’ by government agents as authentic.
Outside cyber experts tell Fox that 70 gigabytes of data is about 1.75 million pages.  
OK…what happened to that “hot” data?  The public has not heard anything at all about the contents.  According to Guccifer this was included as part of the his plea deal.  I think the American public…especially at this point…should know what was in the information.  I know it is classified, but we at least need to know that the Intelligence community has considered it in their “special report” that is being revealed to Obama today….then later President-elect supposedly will be able to view it on Friday.
Now, lets get back to the Fox report. Guccifer gives his opinion concerning Russia possibly hacking the US:
EXCLUSIVE: Romanian hacker Marcel Lehel Lazar, weighing in from a prison 3,700 miles away on the latest diplomatic dust-up between the U.S. and Russia, told Fox News in an exclusive interview that he doubts the Obama administration’s allegations about Moscow directing cyberattacks against Democratic groups in the 2016 election. 
Lazar, 44, also known as “Guccifer,” spoke to Fox News Senior Executive Producer Pamela Browne in a series of recorded phone calls from his Romanian jail cell in late December. He described the administration’s allegation of Russia cyber-attacks during the 2016 elections as part of “a fake cyber war.”
“Americans are crazy about the Russian thing and that Russians are invading the United States,” Lazar said, suggesting the allegations are overblown because of Cold War sensitivities. “It’s crazy … it’s this hysteria you know?” he said.
Now, I agree with Guccifer, and you are talking about a true genius here.  This man has no reason to lie at this point.  I wonder if our Intelligence community has made good use of the information revealed by a true genius at hacking.  They need to revive this investigation of the hacking of Hillary Clinton and others by the Romanian hacker, Guccifer.
Further, I would like to discuss the following from the Fox report:
This revelation ultimately led to the identification of Clinton’s personal account used for all government business while she served as secretary of State. FBI Director James Comey described the handling of classified material as “extremely careless.”
I believe that the above is a total falsehood by the FBI to protect Hillary Clinton.  I have proven in my report that Hillary Clinton had multiple warnings of the fact that her email server had been breached; however, she did nothing to prevent further breaches.  Thus, her actions clearly indicate “intention of wrongdoing”…where FBI Director Comey merely stated she had been “extremely careless” in her handling of government information.
I am very excited to see FOX NEWS revive the Guccifer story at this time.  It is absolutely unbelievable what our Intelligence community has forgotten about Guccifer.  Guccifer hacked the following parties:  Colin Powell, Sidney Blumenthal, a Bush family member, and Hillary Clinton.  There are also mention of some Hollywood personalities.  When he hacked Sidney Blumenthal, he made the remark that he enjoyed Blumenthal’s emails to Clinton, as they revealed all that was going on in the Middle East.  For instance, Blumenthal at one point, was gathering information on the Muslim Brotherhood to recruit an army to take down Ghadaffi.  It is absolutely amazing that a Romanian hacker in a small village with a outdated computer system could penetrate US Government accounts.  This is because our government acted carelessly and did not protect our National Security.
