Over 5 crore people have been fully vaccinated in India, while over 21 crores have received the first dose of the vaccine. N K Arora, chairperson of NTAGI quoted a PGI Chandigarh study in this context. Arora reportedly said that the PGI Chandigarh study shows vaccine effectiveness is 75% irrespective of one dose or both doses.
