Nadler has just ended hearing. One takeaway: House Judiciary Democrats are deeply invested in position that federal law enforcement in Portland has attacked 'peaceful' protesters. Comes even as some pro-Biden voices express concern about riots, violence hurting Democratic cause.

Watched a part of it this morning. Disgusting. Every single Democrat did virtually nothing except hurl assertions and insults, and then demanded answers to gotcha questions, rapidly talking over Barr’s attempts to respond in an other than grovelling manner. With plenty of grandstanding soundbites for use in campaign ads. Unhinged political theater.
