Hershey warns of Halloween candy shortage

Come this Halloween season if you’re looking forward to Kit Kats, Reese’s, and Twizzlers then you might not be in for a treat.

Hershey warned it might not be able to meet the demand to produce its popular candies for the Halloween season, due to a shortage on raw ingredients as well as issues with capacity.

While the coronavirus pandemic caused some of these challenges, the fallout from the Russian invasion of Ukraine also contributed a great deal, according to The Washington Post. The war caused a shortage on certain ingredients.
