Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai publicly accused a former vice-premier of China of sexual assault. Peng accused former vice-premier, Zhang Gaoli, of sexually assaulting her. The tennis star made the allegations on her verified account on Weibo. This is the first time that the #MeToo movement has reached the rank and file of the Chinese Communist Party.
