Inflation Alert! Inflation = loss of Purchasing Power of the Dollar. In March, the purchasing power of $100 in January 2000 dropped to a new record low of $58.80.

Inflation is not a sign of growth, nor is it a sign of anything positive.

It’s an insidious sign of the loss of the purchasing power of our dollars, including the purchasing power of dollar-denominated labor (what we are paid for going to work everyday…).

As we can see, this is a long-term drop and relentless process that is accelerating faster.
