IRS Free Filing is now available for those with income below $69,000. IRS Free Fillable Forms will not be available until January 27th, the date which the IRS will begin accepting and processing tax returns for individual filers.
Go through the IRS site if you don’t want “free” versions of software like TurboTax trying to nickel and dime you to file.
The IRS also has a lookup tool to help you determine which free file online offers you are eligible to use.
