China has a currency backed by more gold every month; it doesn’t have hundreds of military bases abroad; it’s not at war with seven or more countries; it’s population is big enough to develop a closed internal market that lasts hundreds of years; and its money is about to become a reserve currency. And is has the production, skills and education base we used to have.
If a fiat dollar could survive this long then the yuan has few worries.
