How utterly pathetic.
Dr. Jill Biden on Monday night made a very direct pitch on why Democrats should vote for her husband to be the party’s presidential nominee.
“Your candidate might be better on, I don’t know, health care, than Joe is, but you’ve got to look at who’s going to win this election,” the former Second Lady said at an event in Nashua, New Hampshire. “And maybe you have to swallow a little bit and say, ‘OK, I personally like so and so better,’ but your bottom line has to be that we have to beat Trump.”
Former Vice President Joe Biden is ahead in polls — the RealClearPolitics average has him at 30.5% nationally, ahead of Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 17.3% and Sen Bernie Sanders at 16%. That lead though is narrower in New Hampshire, with Biden holding just a 2-point advantage over Sanders in the Granite State, and a 6-point lead over Warren.
