LIBERAL HYPOCRISY: A train just for California is taking over 9 years and 68.4 BILLION to build, but a wall for the entire country that will be built in 3.5 years for 21.6 billion is too expensive.

California’s bullet train could cost taxpayers 50% more than estimated — as much as $3.6 billion more. And that’s just for the first 118 miles through the Central Valley, which was supposed to be the easiest part of the route between Los Angeles and San Francisco
A confidential Federal Railroad Administration analysis, obtained by The Times, projects that building bridges, viaducts, trenches and track from Merced to Shafter could cost $9.5 billion to $10 billion, compared with the original budget of $6.4 billion.
The federal document outlines far-reaching management problems: significant delays in environmental planning, lags in processing invoices for federal grants and continuing failures to acquire needed property.

Trump border ‘wall’ to cost $21.6 billion, take 3.5 years to build: internal report

President Donald Trump’s “wall” along the U.S.-Mexico border would be a series of fences and walls that would cost as much as $21.6 billion, and take more than three years to construct, based on a U.S. Department of Homeland Security internal report seen by Reuters on Thursday.
The report’s estimated price-tag is much higher than a $12-billion figure cited by Trump in his campaign and estimates as high as $15 billion from Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

President Donald Trump vowed Saturday to keep costs down on his proposed wall along the US border with Mexico, although he did not specify how much one of his signature campaign promises would cost.

“I am reading that the great border WALL will cost more than the government originally thought, but I have not gotten involved in … the design or negotiations yet,” Trump wrote in a series of two consecutive tweets. “When I do, just like with the F-35 FighterJet or the Air Force One Program, price will come WAY DOWN!”
The President has not yet released a specific plan for the wall, including an exact cost, though on the campaign trail Trump has cited a $10 billion estimate from the National Precast Concrete Association. But other outside estimates suggest there are enough variables to cost up to $15 billion, and possibly as much as $25 billion, according to a report from Bernstein Research.

Illegal immigration costs US tax payers $113 billion per year, The Great Wall of Trumps will only cost $21.6, its a smart investment in America!
This report estimates the annual costs of illegal immigration at the federal, state and local level to be about $113 billion; nearly $29 billion at the federal level and $84 billion at the state and local level. The study also estimates tax collections from illegal alien workers, both those in the above-ground economy and those in the underground economy. Those receipts do not come close to the level of expenditures and, in any case, are misleading as an offset because over time unemployed and underemployed U.S. workers would replace illegal alien workers.
Key Findings

  • Illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers about $113 billion a year at the federal, state and local level. The bulk of the costs — some $84 billion — are absorbed by state and local governments.
  • The annual outlay that illegal aliens cost U.S. taxpayers is an average amount per native-headed household of $1,117. The fiscal impact per household varies considerably because the greatest share of the burden falls on state and local taxpayers whose burden depends on the size of the illegal alien population in that locality
  • Education for the children of illegal aliens constitutes the single largest cost to taxpayers, at an annual price tag of nearly $52 billion. Nearly all of those costs are absorbed by state and local governments.
  • At the federal level, about one-third of outlays are matched by tax collections from illegal aliens. At the state and local level, an average of less than 5 percent of the public costs associated with illegal immigration is recouped through taxes collected from illegal aliens.
  • Most illegal aliens do not pay income taxes. Among those who do, much of the revenues collected are refunded to the illegal aliens when they file tax returns. Many are also claiming tax credits resulting in payments from the U.S. Treasury.

  1. The second you engage to refute anything of the Left’s arguments, you already lost. You enter their false narrative, their box for you!
Saul Alinksy, the satanic godfather of the Left, has no time to enter into a debate, slave. This is not persuasion, this is intimidation.
Nothing you say is relevant. You don’t know the first few rules of discussion or debate:
    1) Do you care if you change the mind of the person you’re talking to?
    2) Can the other person be persuaded? <————————————-ERROR ERROR ERROR.
If the Left wanted your opinion, they would GIVE IT TO YOU.
Now stfu, and do as we tell you slave. You have mistaken progressives for liberals. You have missed that progressives are Totalitarians.

    • I agree wholeheartedly, the left has been so horribly damaged by the exposure of their leadership’s corruption and perversions that they cannot do anything but cry and try to point to anything and every little thing possible that the administration does in an attempt to draw attention away from the extreme flaws of their so called leaders. Example: “Well Hillary might be a criminal and a pedophile but Trump has almost no hair, so there”. The media and the lefties are a bunch of infantile little cry babies who can’t get over loosing and move on. Nobody throws a temper tantrum like the progressives when they don’t get their way. I wish they would grow up and act like real adults who know how to have a conversation without throwing a fit and crying all the time.

  2. Bullet trains (underground ones in tunnels are best) across the USA would be as celebrated as route 66,(after the slow expensive air travel and the TSA) but this little one in California must be a special set aside job on a no bid contract with only common Mexican labor and management or is Boing involved? On the other hand perhaps it is longer than 118 miles and connects L.A. to the Mexico city subway?

        • Well, the bros, with Elon, as the resident (sic) Assburger’s dude I think is talented. I’ve read his book about himself and I think he probably is a good engineer, but he’s balls deep into AI and owns stakes in companies, “so he can know what’s going on,” or so he says…I suspect he has a golden ticket, is too socially inept to see himself being used, and is working for the Oligarchs’ “final solution:” 500,000,000 people total on Earth, everyone else exterminated.
I wish I could be there, when the Oligarchs eliminate him too without a second thought…golden ticket, revoked.

  3. I can build “The WALL” for free ….. and it will be obsolete before it is done:
    (1) Every illegal arrested inside the USA will be put to work at manual labor on “The WALL”.
    (2) Anyone who hires illegals will forfeit all assets to pay for materilas for “The WALL”
    (3) Laborers on “The WALL” can escape by running South, but will be SHOT if they run North.

  4. Sometimes the libturds are so stupid they can’t even tie their own shoes right. The saving EACH year would more than pay for the wall many times over…..but they’d rather squader BILLIONS on a train that no one will ride…..go figure.

  5. One of Obama’s first outrages was to distribute 875 BILLION to political cronies in the largest theft of public funds I can remember that was not war.
If the wall costs 100 billion BUILD IT! Just the interdiction of the drug trade will pay for it.

  6. Once this wall is build we can send 20.5 million US scumbags who squat abroad home too – plus the US military clowns in uniform. Back to the land of the homos and LGBTQ and G-Shower lovers.
