On the Labor Shortage Issue

Part of the labor shortage is indeed that a lot of people have more money now than before the pandemic, but I think the main cause of the labor shortage is people realized during the lockdown that spending time with your family is better than working like a dog all year to be able to afford an expensive apartment in an elite city or even an exotic 2 week vacation.
