I was standing outside the other day, and an older Model S drove by that sounded like it was going to explode, screeching terribly, the unmistakable sound of an electric motor close to failure. I doubt it was near its million mile plus useful life Elon claimed.
The problem with electric cars is that when something goes wrong the entire car is a write-off.
