The greatest threat to the advancement of the liberal (communist) agenda right now was the Supreme Court.
It seemed rather odd that the Democratic caucus refused to even mention extending the foreclosure and eviction ban that the CDC unconstitutionally installed.
Nancy Pelosi even stated:”Really, we only learned about this yesterday,” as she was making her way out the door for vacation.
The SCOTUS had ruled that the Moratorium was unconstitutional and said it had to stop by August 1St. They said that only Congress could pass a law allowing this authority.
Now that the Congress did not act, we see why it was a set up.
With Congress not able to act, The CDC director, in direct defiance of the SCOTUS order, has now extended the moratorium.
Biden, in his speech, has made it clear that he is in full agreement with this.
Now we have a President basically telling the SCOTUS to shove it, and he will do what he wants, legal or not. As Rep. Maxine Waters tweeted: “I don’t buy that the CDC can’t extend the eviction moratorium – something it has already done in the past! Who is going to stop them? Who is going to penalize them? There is no official ruling saying that they cannot extend this moratorium. C’mon CDC – have a heart! Just do it!”
Yes, who will enforce it against the POTUS? The SCOTUS has no physical power. Congress has abdicated it’s position of being able to block it by being absent.
Joe Biden and the CDC director just told the SCOTUS that they are toothless and will be ignored. If no one brings them to task on this, then a terrible precedent has been set. The POTUS can do whatever he wants by dictate and ignore the law and courts. Long live the emperor!
This is the first test salvo. I well imagine there will be one or two more before the orders to disarm the populous begin.
Imagine what it will be like under the coming dictatorship. How long before Congress and Senate are crushed and disbanded?
The Dems and communists have set this up. The REAL coup is now begun.
