While most of the media are melting down over Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Kremlin-linked lawyer who claimed to have dirt on Hillary Clinton, many are ignoring the real collusion with Russia that occurred during the campaign. The truth has of course been muddied by the leftist mainstream media, happy to report only on stories damaging to the president as opposed to reporting the facts and letting the public determine the implications.
Paul Roderick Gregory wrote in Forbes earlier this summer that, according to an insider account, the Clinton team put together the Russia Gate narrative just 24 hours within her shocking defeat. The account went into great detail about how the “Russian hacking” caused her epic loss to the Donald. It called Trump a puppet of Putin and that narrative detached from reality has been parroted by many major news sites since last November.
This dossier was prepared by a London opposition research firm, Orbis, and was paid for by unidentified Democrat donors which formed a key part of the Clinton narrative. According to Gregory: “Trump’s sexual and business escapades in Russia had made him a hostage of the Kremlin, ready to do its bidding. That was Hillary’s way to say that Trump is really not President of the United States—a siren call adopted by the Democratic party and media.” Not my president, right? We’ve all loved hearing that crock of crap so far.
The interconnection between the Clinton campaign and an unregistered foreign agent of Russia headquartered in DC at Fusion GPS and the Christopher Steele Orbis dossier has been completely ignored by the mainstream media. In fact, the real bombshell in the Russian “meddling” during 2016, has been the collusion between Hillary Clinton’s associates and Russian intelligence.
The New York Times has failed to cover this story. The WaPo has of course ignored it. And Fraud News CNN no doubt failed to report this bombshell that damages the Clinton campaign’s post-election narrative. The Wall Street Journal’s Holman Jenkins and David Satter covered it in the paper’s opinion pages and the possible Russian-intelligence origins of the Steele dossier were also raised in conservative publications, such as in The Federalist and National Review. This is how polarized we are these days. The truth only matters if it hurts the other side.
Former FBI Director James Comey refused to answer questions about Fusion and the Steele dossier during his explosive May 3rd testimony in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Comey responded to South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham’s question about Fusion GPS’s involvement “in preparing a dossier against Donald Trump that would be interfering in our election by the Russians?” with “I don’t want to say.” He needs to be brought forward in front of a forum where he is forced to answer this question no matter what. Perhaps in his upcoming spy novel?
David Satter, an American journalist, Rhodes Scholar, and expert writer on Russia and the Soviet Union, wrote:
“after the publication of the Trump dossier, Mr. Steele went into hiding, supposedly in fear for his life. On March 15, however, Michael Morell, the former acting CIA director, told NBC that Mr. Steele had paid the Russian intelligence sources who provided the information and never met with them directly. In other words, his sources were not only working for pay. Furthermore, Mr. Steele had no way to judge the veracity of their claims.”
If Steele feared for his life, he certainly feared murder via Russian agents.
A Vanity Fair article revealed that Fusion GPS was first funded by an anti-Trump Republican donor, however, after Trump’s nomination, Fusion and Steele were paid by anonymous Democratic donors. The Russian meddling must be expanded to include the Clinton campaign as well. Trump’s campaign barely had a ground game let alone the capacity to collude with the Russians. Yet, the witch hunt continues.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller has been given broad powers in his investigation with no deadline whatsoever. This spells trouble for the Trump administration if it is allowed to to continue. Mueller is charged with investigating Russia’s intervention in the 2016 election. But we cannot trust that this investigation will be fair to both sides. The Clinton-Democratic collusion with the Russians is being ignored in order to destroy the Trump administration for accusations that have yet to be proven. The Donald Trump Jr. meeting with a Kremlin-linked lawyer is much to do about nothing. The Clinton campaign would’ve taken the same meeting.
There are still many unanswered questions surrounding the crooked 2016 Clinton campaign. Where is the investigation into that organization? Did the Clinton campaign fund the Orbis Trump smear campaign and did they know they were working with Russian intelligence? Did Clinton donors and campaign officials commit to the funding of the anti-Trump dossier?
The Fusion-Steele situation needs to be looked into due to the fact that it suggests that Russia’s intervention in last year’s election was paid for by the Clinton campaign by way of the Steele dossier as opposed to the Trump campaign!
Mueller needs to investigate both sides in order to discover the real Russian collision that occurred last year.
