Remember the Hans Christian Andersen tale about the child who, seeing the Emperor parading naked, alone blurted out the truth?
This is a contemporary version of the classic tale.
On July 25, 2018, at the GameStop store in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a tall man with a husky voice was paying for an item at the counter.
The male store clerk correctly addressed the man as “sir”.
The tranny went berserk. Spewing obscenities at the store clerk, he demanded his money back because the store clerk called him “sir” instead of “ma’am”: “I don’t want credit, you’re going to give me my f***ing money back!”
A female shopper intervened and asked the tranny to stop wearing because there were children present. She said: “Excuse me, sir. There is a young man in here, you need to watch your mouth. I can call the police if you would like me to, you need to settle down.”
The tranny got even more enraged and told off the woman: “Excuse me, it’s ‘ma’am. It is ‘ma’am’! You need to mind your business!”
Then he turned back to the hapless store clerk behind the counter and shouted: “It’s ‘ma’am’! Once again, ‘ma’am’!”
The clerk tried to pacify the tranny and said: “I said ‘you guys’.”
The tranny yelled, “Right before you said ‘Sir’!” and went apesh*t, gesticulating, spewing obscenities, and screaming, “You said ‘sir’! Take it outside if you want to call me ‘sir’ again! I’m suing you!”
Storming toward the door, the tranny kicked over a stand of toys, then turned back to continue his tirade, screaming at the clerk: “I need your corporate number, now!” as the clerk repeatedly apologized. (Daily Mail)
The incident was verified by another customer who posted this on Yelp on July 26, 2018:
I was in this GameStop location yesterday and I saw the egregious treatment of an employee. As I walked in, I saw a man at the counter speaking with the employee…. As I was in the store for about 30 min, I was seeing how the man was pushing against store policies to try to get his way. [The employee] was extremely calm, respectful and understanding to this man. Throughout the interaction the man would not listen to [the employee] and actually escalated to call the police to challenge store policy. It was a CRAZY scene. [The employee] did not react in any negative way, just kept [his] cool and continued to do an amazing job. I will continue to return to this location, and I hope [the employee] gets the recognition [he] deserves as a great team member. People are there true selves under pressure, and I don’t think I could have reacted to such absurdity in the eloquent way.”
