Some people get to dance and some people get to pay the bill for the band. Same as it ever was.
Color me unsurprised, but President Trump on Sunday signed the $900 billion Covid relief bill, as written by lobbyists and special interests.
As per a New York Post article:
The bill authorizes direct checks of $600 for people earning up to $75,000 per year. The amount decreases for higher earners and people who make over $95,000 get nothing.
There’s an additional $600 per child stimulus payment.
In a statement, Trump said that Congress on Monday would vote on a separate bill to “increase payments to individuals from $600 to $2,000.”
The bill creates a new $300 weekly unemployment supplement and replenishes a forgivable loan program for small businesses. It also creates new criminal penalties including prison time for violating copyright laws with online streaming. –NYP
People still believing a billionaire Zionist can be a folk hero fighting for the American people were, let’s say a little bit upset:
What’s wrong with him? For real? Why does he always bark only to fold? Don’t bark and done. Not sure why he yanks his supporters around only to fold every time for 4 years in a row. t.co/rPUK1LKm4U

If you ask me, Trump does not wish to be POTUS anymore. He knows the score; he has seen the writing on the wall.
I can’t find the exact quote, but Gore Vidal once said in an interview, decades ago, that Americans don’t elect U.S. Presidents; basically, the president is selected by the ruling class from a pool of their preferred candidates.
As in, the POTUS is not elected, but selected in the primary process, and it doesn’t matter whom do you vote for in the end, REP or DEM. The same goes for Congress et al. The election is “rigged” during the primaries by the ruling class, and the “democratic” vote is more or less futile, as both candidates are bought and paid for, and nothing really changes from one electoral cycle to another.
In addition to that, JFK and Donald Trump are examples of what happens to people who don’t believe the first sentence.
Here are some other quite witty and cutting political quotes from Gore Vidal. Yes, I know he was bisexual, but he had a first-rate mind:
“You know, I’ve been around the ruling class all my life, and I’ve been quite aware of their total contempt for the people of the country.” – Gore Vidal
“Any individual who is able to raise [enough money] to be considered presidential is not going to be much use to the people at large. He will represent…whatever moneyed entities are paying for him…. Hence, the sense of despair throughout the land as incomes fall, businesses fail and there is no redress.” -Gore Vidal
“The genius of our ruling class is that it has kept a majority of the people from ever questioning the inequity of a system where most people drudge along, paying heavy taxes for which they get nothing in return.” – Gore Vidal
If you get Joe Biden, will you be happy with the choice the ruling class has made for you in 2020?
See the moment Joe Biden got upset at CNN town hall (Alzheimers/mental decline and reinstating Obamacare):
There is no Q, there is no Kraken, there are no sealed indictments, there is nothing. You have been bested by the Maoists and the Republican establishment and it’s all due to your absolute lack/desire to fight back.
Bottom line is you don’t know how to fight back, you don’t know how to organize, you are in total disarray and your opponents know it and exploit it. They’ve been screwing you over left and right for the past 3 decades and what’s even more pathetic is that you’re completely oblivious to it and still believe in corrupt institutions.
It made my heart warm to watch the Supreme Court show its true corrupt and cowardly colors. We are watching the last dying gasp of the Republic and what conservatives and patriots hold dear. When you are living in a full-blown Maoist dictatorship and are wondering how did this happen, all you’ll have to do is look in the mirror and see the reflection of what a do-nothing looks like.
Deal with it already: Biden will be the “fake president,” Yeltsin-style. The dismantling of the US has begun, and the oligarchs are moving in. You have a few more years of paying taxes before things go hot or you get a restorationist movement to try to hold things together before breakaway movements gain legitimacy.
I’d advise you to hold your fire for now. This is going to take four, five years before you get a clear answer as to how most people over 35 are going to spend the rest of their lives. But make no mistake, all promises — like Social Security, Medicare, etc. — are now off the table. Stay healthy, stay away from hospitals, and stay away from crowds.
I read this bill and what Trump claims to be using Impoundment Control Act. None of this changes the fact the entire piece of legislation is garbage. He will not use Act to change a thing. Senate will not lift a finger to help Americans, even if McConnell promised or likely said he would “look into it”. Trump was better off using a pocket veto.
As President I am demanding many rescissions under the Impoundment Control Act of 1974. The Act provides that, “whenever the President determines that all or part of any budget authority will not be required to carry out the full objectives or scope of programs for which it is provided, or that such budget authority should be rescinded for fiscal policy or other reasons (including termination of authorized projects or activities for which budget authority has been provided), the President shall transmit to both Houses of Congress a special message” describing the amount to be reserved, the relevant accounts, the reasons for the rescission, and the economic effects of the rescission. 2 U.S.C. § 683.
