Two London hospitals hit by flooding declare ‘major incidents’

Hospitals, train stations, and roads flood as the extreme rain caused rivers and waterways to burst their banks around London.

Areas including Hackney Wick, Newham and Barking were affected by the downpours, with videos showing cars driving through deep water and people walking nearly knee-deep at times.
