UNITED STATES Successfully Tests New Nuclear Gravity Bomb.

by Pamela Williams
As the world’s attention was on the first combat use of the conventional “Mother Of All Bombs,” the US National Nuclear Security Administration announced the successful field test of the modernized gravity nuclear bomb in Nevada.
The NNSA and the US Air Force completed the first qualification flight test of the B61-12 gravity nuclear bomb on March 14 at the Tonopah Test Range in Nevada, the agency announced on Thursday.
It seems the Trump Administration is very secretive about what it has planned, and that is the way militarily it should be.  I don’t think anyone saw this coming.
The test was intended to evaluate the weapon’s “non-nuclear functions” and the capability of the F-16 fighter to successfully deploy the bomb. An F-16 fighter from Nellis Air Force Base dropped the “non-nuclear test assembly,” the NNSA said in a statement.
“The successful test provides critical qualification data to validate that the baseline design meets military requirements,” said Brigadier General Michael Lutton, NNSA’s principal assistant deputy administrator for military application. The NNSA is part of the Department of Energy, which is charged with managing US nuclear weapons.
The B61-12 is a modernized version of the B61 gravity bomb, the mainstay of the Air Force’s nuclear arsenal and one of the legs of the so-called nuclear triad, along with the intercontinental ballistic missiles deployed from either ground-based silos or oceangoing submarines.
President Donald Trump has endorsed an ambitious – and expensive – plan to modernize the US nuclear triad, begun under his predecessor. The B61-12 is intended to consolidate and replace all the B61 variants currently in service.
Three successful development flight tests of the B61-12 were conducted in 2015. The March test was the first in a series scheduled to span the next three years, with the final design review due in September 2018 and the first production unit scheduled for completion by March 2020.
On Thursday, the US attracted the world’s attention by dropping a GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb (MOAB), also known as “Mother Of All Bombs,” on Islamic State  (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) positions in eastern Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province. It was the first combat use of the weapon, the largest conventional bomb in the US arsenal.
I think at this time President Trump is putting all his cards on the table to deter North Korea and Russia, and little do they know whether he will actually move ahead in using them.  I believe the United States are showing off their goods in putting up a good front to bring North Korea to its knees.
I do not think at this time we will be going to war with North Korea.  I think that NK is coming to its senses as we speak.  At least I hope so.

      • Yea. BECAUSE of the US, and BECAUSE the US needs a major conflict to either rescue the dollar – or blame the collapse, elsewhere.
I’m wondering where it is, exactly, you’re going with all this, especially with your absurd article on ‘Putin’s missile’ the other day (I’m assuming you’re Pamela)?

  1. The plan the US military has for North Korea; should the US launch a preemptive strike is going to surprise a lot of people. The person talking in the video has no idea the outcome of what will happen. How many years has this nation been threatening harm against South Korea, Japan, the United States or whoever? The time for talk is over. The world cannot allow a menace such as Kim Jung to be able to make war with nukes. Not only are they making them but also selling them to rogue nations. China has done nothing in stopping this idiot from firing off missiles over Japan. China wants our trade as we do theirs. A possible North and South Korea united would be a great trade partner for the people of North Korea and the rest of the world. I do not advocate war. The President and his military minds hopefully have really good intel and if it comes to war get it over very swiftly.

  2. So when North Korea tests a nuclear weapon, that´s horrible and (almost) grounds for going to war with them, and if the US does the same, it´s a great success that will bring about world peace?
I think both tests are worthy of condemnation, but if you want to make a difference between them, the US nuclear test is a danger to world peace (a country that already has enough nukes to destroy all life on the planet 100 times over developing yet another one) while North Korea is just trying to build a deterrent (after being constantly threatened by the only country in the world that has actually used nukes against civilians).

    • I believe we was set up that it was always going to be Trump to win. And i think we got played. Because the very people he promised to do away with like Haley tjey are the knes that have benefitted from Trump being President. We the people have been had

      • We certainly got played in that both options could hardly suck any more.
I still believe they were planning for a Clinton victory though. The press coverage up until the point he fired those missiles is a pretty good hint that someone there wasn’t sure they’d get what they wanted.
And of course Hitlery Clinton was there from the start cheering him on from the other side of the aisle as soon as he did. They simply have no reason not to want Hitlery.
I think what happened is at first they were shocked not to see their warmongering Nazi of choice winning, so they hit the panic button and made the media come up with nonsense like “Trump is a Russian spy”, “Trump eats kittens for breakfast, puppies for lunch and babies for dinner”, “Putin put Trump into the White House”, “Trump is Hitler, just worse”, … to keep him occupied while finding something to blackmail or bribe him with.
Then they found something and now he’s their “nice” little lapdog. “Bomb Syria”, done, yes, good little poodle. “Commit a major atrocity in Afghanistan”, sure. “Threaten North Korea with a massive military strike”, of course… “Fire Flynn and Bannon, listen to Kushner and McMaster”, sure… “Appoint a Nazi warmonger ambassador to the UN”, done…
Notice how the media is all on Trump’s side now that he has officially gone evil? No more talk of him being a Russian spy now, no more talk of him being Hitler (even though now one could argue he actually is – but of course the media never tell the truth), …
Trump has become a clone of Hitlery, but it took him a couple of weeks. With her, they’d probably have started it all a bit earlier, but other than that, no change in outcome.
There’s still one good thing I can see coming out of Trump, and it’s something we wouldn’t have gotten with Clinton: People will be more fed up.
In 2008, people largely voted for the nice talking guy who pretended he wanted “hope and change” (D). Didn’t work, so in 2016, we largely voted for the tough talking guy who pretended to stand for change (R). Didn’t work either.
If anything can make people realize that both the Ds and Rs are frauds and nothing good will come out of either of those 2 wings of the party of war and corruption, it’s this. (The conclusion from a Hitlery presidency would have been “see, we told you to vote for the Republican outsider in 2016. Vote Republican 2020! Even if it means George P. Bush! Anything but another Obama/Clinton Democrat!”)
It’s time to get ready to throw both the Rs and the Ds under the bus.
Now, with the alleged “outsider” doing their bidding and the fact that the other candidate would have done the exact same thing in plain sight (no “but Trump would have saved us all” calls we would have heard under President Hitlery), people will be more ready to do the right thing.
It’s time to get organized to kick both the Rethuglicans and the Demonrats out of both houses in the midterms (in fact it’s already a little late to get started).
The genuine left (who hate the DINOs) and the genuine right (who hate the RINOs) need to start looking past their differences and work together on the common goal of getting rid of the D/R duopoly. We can always fight over legitimate disagreements later.
Also, Trump may have pissed off just the wrong guys by pandering to the 2nd Amendment crowd and then stabbing them in the back. I wonder if he realizes that a lot of them think they need guns to fight off a government gone overboard?
I’m not advocating violence against anyone, but they chose to play with fire there, and fire is what they might get in return (from Trump’s early core supporters). (FWIW I’m not one of them, I’m what would be a “moderate” if it wasn’t for the fact that the establishment has stolen and redefined that word to turn it into a description for warmongering extremists like McCain or Clinton.)

  3. Unbeleiveable how wussisefied we have become! The United States stands up to NK and all this hand-wringing! Would you rather we return to the willful ignorance of the last 8 years? Sure, Why not? Then in another 5 years when NK and Iran have nuclear ballistic capability, Isis has established a base in Afghanistan and the Syrian-Iranian collation has blossomed into a regional power the United States will be in such a stronger position! Yes! Let’s do that!
