This week’s White House Report Card finds President Joe Biden showing more than ever that he’s an able flip-flopper on major issues.
From his prior opposition to packing the Supreme Court, redefining his promise of “unity” to erase Washington Republicans, and putting out the welcome mat for refugees after promising to keep the numbers low, Biden has proven that few of his positions are heartfelt.
Our editor, Hugo Gurdon, sized the president up in a column headlined “Joe Biden — once a fraud, always a fraud.” In it, he wrote: “His chameleon lack of principle was glaring during the election, in which he won the primary in the guise of a centrist to defeat his extremist rivals, then executed a violent handbrake turn and hurtled back leftward.”
