The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward defended President-elect Donald Trump on Fox News Sunday against the “garbage” allegations waged against the president-elect.
“That [BuzzFeed dossier] was a garbage document. It never should have been presented as part of an intelligence briefing. As you suggested, other channels have the White House counsel give it to Trump’s incoming White House counsel,” Woodward said.
Fox News host Chris Wallace asked Woodward his opinion of how the intelligence community handled the so-called Russian dossier against Trump.
Woodward said Trump’s point of view on the issue is often underreported and then scolded the CIA for their criticism of Trump.

It was a mistake as Bob Woodward says, but it was a well orchestrated mistake between the intelligence communities, the democrats, rinos and CNN:

The Trump Dossier Puts the Deep State in Deep Doo-Doo
Mr. Garfinkle of Garfinkle’s New Method Hebrew School in Milwaukee used to frequently echo King Solomon’s admonition; “There’s nothing new under the sun.” I was reminded of that this week when the rapidly unfolding “scandal” of Trump’s purported dealings with Russia hit the news. It has more than a few similarities with the Dan Rather faked-up story of GW Bush’s National Guard service where an anonymous, never-found source supposedly gave Bill Burkett a demonstrably fake report and Dan Rather ran with it. This time a Bush (Jeb) is involved but as an instigator of the story, not a victim. John McCain acts as the intermediary passing the junk on to the Intelligence Community, which makes sure it is published.
If you’re confused about it, let me put it in the context of the most reliable information I’ve been able to put together, noting that I think the story is likely to become even more clear over the next few days. As you will see, the dossier is so ridiculous, if anyone in the Intelligence Community fell for it, he’s too stupid to allow in place, and if no one did but they still played a role in publicizing it, everyone involved needs to be fired.

Very interesting interview.
Brennan today. Things are heating up.
Gingrich: Trump Should ‘Thoroughly Overhaul’ Incompetent Intelligence Community
Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” while discussing the unverified dossier about President-elect Donald Trump and Russia, former Speaker Newt Gingrich said Trump questions about the competence of the intelligence community are valid and he would recommend Trump “thoroughly overhaul the entire community.”

Trump rips CIA Director Brennan, suggests he may have leaked dossier
President-elect Trump slammed outgoing Central Intelligence Agency Director John Brennan, saying he did a poor job as the leader of the agency and suggesting he may have leaked the unverified dossier linking Trump to Russian intelligence.

“Oh really, couldn’t do much worse – just look at Syria (red line), Crimea, Ukraine and the build-up of Russian nukes. Not good! Was this the leaker of Fake News?” Trump tweeted.

Woodward Skewers Bernstein – Bob Woodward Dismantles Propaganda of CNN and Carl Bernstein
Interestingly, today Bob Woodward separates his journalistic integrity from the corrupt bastardization of CNN and Carl Bernstein. Additionally, President Donald Trump thanks Woodward for his intellectual honesty.
BACKGROUND: Four political operatives at CNN (Jake Tapper, Jim Scuitto, Evan Perez and Carl Bernstein), colluded with two highly politicized top level Obama administration intelligence officials, ODNI John Brennan (James Clapper – correction is mine) and CIA Director John Brennan, under the auspices of leaks from “anonymous senior intelligence officials” – on the construct of Russian narrative to undermine the incoming presidency of Donald Trump.

Very interesting article on Woodward. I included the snippets from the article as it helps support what the authors at the Conservative Treehouse have been saying about the Washington Post being the mouthpiece of the CIA:
BOB WOODWARD THE STORY HE WON’T TELL
The eminent paper itself is steeped in intelligence connections. The Post’s owners, the Graham family, were aficionados of the apparatus and good friends of top spies such as longtime CIA Director Allen Dulles. Both the late publisher Philip Graham and Woodward’s boss and confidant, editor Ben Bradlee, had served in military intelligence during World War II.
<snip>
“Journalists” too. Woodward’s Watergate reporting partner, Bernstein, later wrote about the remarkable extent of the CIA’s penetration of newsrooms, detailing numerous examples in a 1977 Rolling Stone article. As for the Post itself, Bernstein wrote: “When Newsweek was purchased by the Washington Post Company, publisher Philip L. Graham was informed by Agency officials that the CIA occasionally used the magazine for cover purposes, according to CIA sources. ‘It was widely known that Phil Graham was somebody you could get help from,’ said a former deputy director of the Agency. Some Newsweek correspondents and stringers continued to maintain covert ties with the Agency into the 1970s,CIA sources said.
“Information about Agency dealings with the Washington Post newspaper is extremely sketchy. According to CIA officials, some Post stringers have been CIA employees, but these officials say they do not know if anyone in the Post management was aware of the arrangements.”
