Biden’s America: 1/4 of Americans actively fear being attacked in their neighborhoods as crime spikes nationwide
About 19% of white adults in the United States who responded to the poll claimed they fear “being physically attacked or threatened in their neighborhood,” according to results. This is the lowest percentage reported by a racial demographic.
Native American adults were most likely to say they fear being attacked, with 36% of respondents in that demographic saying so. Latino Americans were the next highest demographic percentage, at 26%.
A quarter of Black Americans (25%) who responded to the poll said that they fear being attacked, and 21% of Asian Americans who took the poll said the same.
