This is a link to the European Climate Declaration, published a few days ago, in which 500 international scientists and professionals attempt to reel in the climate alarmist narrative. This is a big deal since many of them are so called “heavy hitters”, and as is known to anyone familiar with climate science, go against the climate alarmist narrative and be ostracized. The major points claimed in the report are:
- Natural as well as anthropogenic factors cause warming.
- Warming is far slower than predicted
- Climate policy relies on inadequate models
- CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth
- Global warming has not increased natural disasters
- Climate policy must respect scientific and economic realities
These statements should be controversial to no-one. However climate science has been co-opted and corrupted by an alarmist narrative encouraged and often produced by bodies such as the IPCC, WHO, WWF, NASA, NOAA, CSIRO, EPA. Why are the above statements considered heresy, when in fact they are simple truths? The intention and end game of this conspiracy is the “finacialisation” of nature, as currently being detailed in this and this series of articles.
Let’s hope initiatives such as this one go some way to dialing back the mass psychogenic illness that is climate alarmism.
