John W. DeFeo: ‘I am not a Republican and I have zero admiration or respect for the Republican party, let alone Donald Trump, whom I’ve reviled since before he was President. That said, I consider this iteration of the Democratic party to be the greatest threat to U.S. democracy in my lifetime.’

An important clarification: My lack of respect for a political party as an *institution* does NOT mean that I have no respect for all members of a party. There are members of both parties whom I respect and love.
