Based on reports from NYT, CNN, Guardian, and others, the Pentagon has issued prepare-to-deploy orders to ~1,500 troops from Alaska’s 11th Airborne Division and several hundred military police from Fort Bragg, in preparation for possible deployment to Minneapolis amid protests over an ICE shooting. No deployment has occurred yet.
