AI cover story hides the real surveillance monster rising in plain sight

This is all speculation of course, but i’ve been running some numbers, and it’s becoming blatantly obvious to me, that they are lying about the purpose of data centers. They keep telling us, this build up of data centers is to power AI. Like chat gpt or gemini. This is BS. Let me tell you why. If we were truly in an AI arms race, we would see that reflected in China. They have an even larger domestic population at, probably 1-1.5 billion people. They have their own domestic AI, and their population uses it just as much, if not more, than ours.

So riddle me this, why is it, that within the past couple years, the united states build up of massive data centers is so much more drastically skewed than china? We are approaching over 4,000 centers. Most of these have been built up relatively recently. Almost like there is a massive panic/reason for it. For context, China has roughly 365 data centers.

People will rebut this by saying, well we are preparing for the future, by building the infrastructure needed to utilize AI properly. Again imo this is BS, and doesn’t make any sense. A single standard data center could process roughly 1-5 billion queries per day. Now i will admit this is hard to estimate, because data centers come in all different sizes, they run at different levels of efficiency, and it depends on what type of data/query they are running. Obviously higher throughput computation requires more energy and GPU’s. But with all that said, it still doesn’t make any sense.

Lets go over some numbers real quick. Chat GPT’s total GLOBAL volume of query per day is about 2.5 billion prompts. Google search has about 13-16 billion queries per day. It sounds like a lot, but when you understand how much a single data center can process, you realize, that we are building FAR FAR beyond anything required in the near term, or even long term projection. They keep saying AI is advancing too fast, nobody will even have jobs etc etc. All nonsense.

Not to mention, the strain building this amount of data centers, all running at moderate to peak levels, would put on a countries energy infrastructure and grid as a whole. It becomes very clear, that if you were doing this just for AI, it is not worth it. Not even a little bit. Your peoples energy cost will skyrocket, and thats before you even factor in the closing the straight of hormuz. And for what? More people using ChatGPT as their personal therapist? It makes no sense.

So why do it then? Well i have a theory. Data centers are not solely used for AI query requests. And what would actually require this level of buildup, isn’t that type of request anyway. However, Running massive amounts of metadata would. Say for instance every single conversation within the country, via listening devices on every person.

Now thats a pretty evil mass surveillance state, but tbh i don’t think thats what it is either. Because quite honestly i think the government already has had that ability, and likely has had that ability for many years if not decades prior to 2026. So… why the need for such a large build up? Imagine a massive hay stack, the size of north america, and in it, there is a single needle. You have no idea where it is, but you know its there. Normally that would be impossible to find. But you, are the greatest super power in the world, you don’t quit easy.

You can see where its going. So the next questions really becomes, what thing/person/ technology is so valuable to the US government that they would literally risk their own domestic national security(via grid overload and failure), or recession/depression due to run away energy prices, to find. IMO they are searching for something, or building something, i’m not sure which, and it may even be a combination of both. The haste/panic in which they are building this up, along with everything else going on(like missing scientist), makes me think they don’t know exactly what they are looking for. But they are trying to brute force compute an answer/location/identity of something or someone. I have no idea what it is, but clearly it is extremely important to them.
