Trump said keep Iran’s oil. He did not declare an occupation.

Factcheck:

The Ireland clip is real. Sunday, golf course. Trump said the U.S. will “ultimately get out” of Iran “unless we decide to stay and keep the oil like Venezuela.” That sentence exists. He did not announce a signed occupation plan. He floated an option and tied it to a Venezuela oil deal he already brags about. The “Israel controls America” line is the channel talking, not a legal fact. On Gulf talks with Iran he said he doesn’t care if they’re happy, “as long as Israel” is happy too. Sloppy. Ugly. Not a confession that Washington is an occupied territory. Tucker Carlson’s Gulf-hegemony riff is Carlson’s read. Trump agreeing in a private chat is Carlson’s claim.
