Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens endorsed Republican Mike Rogers on Sunday, two days before the election, after a public feud with Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed. Stevens appeared with Rogers at Perfecting Church in Detroit and said El-Sayed told her she was no longer welcome in his campaign. Staffers quit her office. Michigan Democratic Party chair called it a betrayal; Schumer called it despicable. Rogers said he was honored. Race remains tight for the open seat.
