I’m a nurse. I also recently quit my job because we had no N95 masks. It feels like a hopeless situation. The CDC even changed the guidelines and said medical personnel should wear bandanas if they have to. I can’t even file for unemployment because I quit.
I want more than anything to be out there helping and taking care of people right now. But I am a single parent. I have to be able to protect myself. I can’t work without PPE.
