Illinois’ Stay-at-Home Order Extended Through May, Pritzker Announces
The statewide stay-at-home order was previously in effect through April 30

Illinois’ stay-at-home order will now be in effect through May, Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced Thursday.
With just one week left until the current April 30 deadline, Pritzker said he plans to extend the deadline for another month.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Tuesday suggested the order could be extended well into May and possibly even June. She said Thursday that she thinks Pritzker’s announcement is “appropriate…”
