CoreWeave credit default swaps now imply a 63% chance of default within five years, the highest among major tech names. Spreads on Oracle, Nvidia, Amazon, Alphabet and Meta also widened. Oracle is down roughly 50% from its June high and another 12% in the past week. CCC junk bond yields reached 17.49%. Money is pouring into Treasuries; the 10-year yield dropped sharply Thursday after the two-day AI equity dump. AI-related debt issuance is slowing as rates stay elevated. Short seller Jim Chanos, who flagged Enron, described the “neo-clouds” as equipment-leasing businesses generating single-digit returns even in the boom and warned against magical valuations on mundane assets. The flight into government bonds is occurring while the AI buildout has been a major support for GDP, tax receipts and equity valuations; any sustained slowdown would widen deficits further.

Oracle is completely collapsing.
It's fallen 12% in a week and is down almost 50% since its June high.
It's currently also down in pre-market trading.
