ALL TRAVELERS ENTERING Germany by air beginning Tuesday will now be required to present a negative coronavirus test before embarking on their trip.
An update from Germany’s health ministry said the new requirement applies to any traveler age 6 and older entering Germany from any other country. The negative test result must be presented to the airline before departure.
The health ministry is requiring COVID-19 tests to be performed at testing centers no more than 48 hours before entering Germany. In places that do not have the resources available to make that possible, airlines may test passengers or charge a third party to conduct the tests.
