All nursing home staff, residents to be tested for COVID-19 under new executive order in West Virginia

The additional three deaths are an 85-year old woman from Wood County and a 74-year old woman and 91-year old woman, both from Wayne County. The two women from Wayne County were both residents of Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation, according to the facility’s parent company AMFM.

Altogether, there have been 16 deaths statewide.

The DHHR reports 775 confirmed cases in West Virginia. “There have been 19,088 laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 775 positive, 18,313 negative and 16 deaths,” it said in a release.
