Being wrong is how people learn, argue and make discoveries. In an age when AI can produce an instant answer to almost any question, the danger is that we stop questioning the answers and lose the curiosity that drives progress.

WE NEED TO EMBRACE BEING WRONG!

In the age of AI, we’re going to miss it.

AI is built to give us answers, facts… the “correct” solution every time. Everyone is now an expert and has the right answer!

Nobody is wrong anymore.

But being wrong is what makes us human.

– The embarrassment from being wrong in a debate drives you to be right in the next one.
– Being wrong about a stock makes you dig deeper and learn from your mistakes.
– Being wrong in science leads to breakthroughs.
– Being wrong in business forces you to rebuild everything from scratch, stronger and more profitable!

Every great discovery started with someone being wrong about what everyone else believed!

Copernicus was wrong about what everyone else believed.

Wegener was wrong about the continents being fixed.

Aristotle was so confidently wrong he claimed women have fewer teeth than men and never checked.

Every great discovery started with someone challenging what others believed to be true.

Passion comes from conviction and curiosity comes from doubt.

Progress comes from the willingness to be wrong.

We argue, we get frustrated, we obsess over proving our point. And sometimes that messy, uncomfortable process leads somewhere extraordinary.

Imagine a world where every debate ends with AI delivering the correct answer.

There is no argument, no uncertainty. No more mystery!

How boring would that be?

The real fear I have isn’t that AI will be right more often than us.

It’s that we’ll stop thinking for ourselves because we can always ask a machine.

The goal should never have been to always be right instead to keep questioning what we believe to be true.

Embrace being wrong, you just might just discover something amazing!
