BOOM: DISNEY’s $185 drink…

Disneyland visit is more expensive than it’s ever been, but as guests prove time and time again, if the company puts an exorbitant price on something, someone will pay it. Many someones, actually, if the new $185 drink is any indication.

What might surprise you about this libation is that it’s actually in line with market value.

Every holiday season, the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa sets up a pop-up holiday cart. It sells Mickey-shaped gingerbread cookies and other treats, including hot chocolate and cider that you can order with your choice of spirit like Grand Marnier, butterscotch schnapps or RumChata.

The most popular of those, though, is the annual iteration of Disneyland’s dessert shot. In the past, the cart has offered chocolate chip cookies baked in the shape of a shot glass, then lined with dark chocolate and rimmed with festive sprinkles, and a similar version made with a red velvet cookie.
