 A CASE STUDY IN MASS MIND MANIPULATION

If you’re only just waking up to the reality that spin has morphed into the mass manufacture of distractive distortion, the last five days may have made you rub your eyes in confusion. The post below aims to be a bucket of ice-cold water…and reveal what the process really tells us about the Establishment political Parties.

About eighteen months ago, the Anglo-Saxon LibLeft press media axis – The Washington Post, the New York Times, The Guardian and The Independent – all decided, with an uncanny degree of coordination, that they were going to declare All Out War on “fake news”. As these four titles alone were responsible for a fair proportion of it, this should have been viewed by most people as some kind of weird quadrophonic suicide-pact.

It wasn’t, because the very nasties who depend on the restricted vision of The Fake Four – Antifa, Momentum, Progress, Common Purpose, the bourses, central bankers, NATO, Soros, Brussels and Alt State fascists across the planet – were quick to applaud the move, and ensure all their agents and allies at Twitter, Facebook and Instagram had the Fake News Loudspeaker turned up to Decibel 451.

In 2018, the ordinary Western citizen is caught in the crossfire – stuck in a shell hole in No Man’s Land as the myriad snipers of the Left pick off the Right and vice-versa, before  both turning their fire onto every opponent of cultural appeasement, econbloc geopolitics, financialised globalism, media concentration, unelected dictatorship and unaccountable ISP censorship.

As always, the anarchic media fusillades are firing not just in all directions, but also on three levels: geopolitical, econo-financial and national political. Yesterday’s Slogpost took a satirical look at Brexitophobia-stoking, which operates on all three levels. The Indie led last weekend, for example, led with a header suggesting that all police leave had been cancelled in order to deal with “anticipated social disorder” as a result of Brexit. But on the inside pages the hacks admitted that no leave had been cancelled at all, and such wasn’t even a policy. The Week bannered its cover with ‘Whitehall panic measures’ of which, on examination, there proved not to be any, as such. And Sterling would plummet, said The Sunday Times, if there was No Deal by next March. If that happens (the ST didn’t point out) then the appalling deficits of France, Spain and Italy will worsen still further due to a lack of British tourists. The French regional paper Sud Ouest yesterday ran a hugely intelligent piece pointing out that the problem already exists:

‘Where have all the tourists gone?” it asks, concluding that “they haven’t got any money”.

But when it came to correcting the flood of anti-Brexit propagandist bollocks, the Fake Four were nowhere to be seen; because, of course, they are part of the problem.

The saga of Boris and the Burqa is a silly three-cornered mad-hat operating at the international intolerance level of Islam, the LibLeft appeasers of Islam, and the multivariate divisions in the British Conservative Party.

This is an objective précis of what Boris Johnson wrote about Burqas in the Daily Telegraph: he doesn’t believe they should be subject to the ban introduced by France, Denmark and Austria….but he does think they make women look like letter-boxes.

As it happens, I disagree with him on both points: I think burqas are about as antithetical to UK culture as it’s possible to get, and they make women look like a cross between a bell-tent and the Prisoner of Zenda. However, that’s not the point. I dislike almost everything for which BoJo stands, but the article was a perfectly reasonable and intelligent piece with which the vast majority of sane Brits would agree.

Nevertheless, the row quickly turned into an object lesson in hypocritically opportunistic virtue signalling…

From Theresa May….. who recognises that Boris is now the man most likely to topple her: she backed Party chairman Brandon Lewis’s call for Johnson to apologise for comparing women wearing a full face veil to a letterbox.

From Dominic Grieve……a rabid Remainer who piled in to say he’d quit the party should the former foreign secretary ever become leader.

From Baroness Warsi…..the allround professional Muslim who opined that Johnson should have the whip removed.

From the BBC appeasers…..who proclaim that ‘Ex-UK foreign secretary Boris Johnson is to be investigated after public complaints made to the Tory party over burqa comments’….despite the fact that Top Cop Cressida Dick says that legally he has not committed any offence.

And of course, every bonkers LibLeft Islamophile on Facebook and Twitter just gagging to position Johnson as the epitome of of a scumfascistbigotracist Tory Party has been jerking the knee that never bends:

The conclusion that will be put forward by the UK LibLeft is that the Conservatives have been completely taken over by the forces of greedy racism. And as the counter to such drivel, the differently mad fantasy from the Tory trolls will be that the Labour Party has been taken over by the secret love-child of the 1939 Nazi-Soviet pact.

But the Truth is far more simple: both Parties are false confections, because neither is based on the real-world concerns of the mass of the Citizenry. It isn’t that both are riven by splits – although they are. It is that neither is fit for purpose. Each one is desperate to have 100% sign-up to an ideological aim, but that simply isn’t possible, because both neoliberalism and Socialism are old, discredited catechisms with no appeal to the majority….as indeed is fundamentalist Islam.

Ironically, the pathetic attempts to make financialised globalism and international pc LibLeftism look mainstream are responsible for 99% of all ‘fake news’. And turkeys never vote for Christmas.

So in short, only when the Friedmanite, Marxist and Mohammedan Alt States have been drained will the community and its individual members be able to reinvent human philosophy about the future as the ultimate antidote to robotic ideology based on a long-gone past.
