Boris Johnson just announced only double jabbed to be allowed in nightclubs etc. Nightclubs to be legally forced to adopt Covid passports

Sharing is Caring!

Boris Johnson has just announced that from September people will have to be fully vaccinated to enter nightclubs and other venues:

“The jab is “of immense benefits” to individuals and their families. But it is also about access to “pleasures” .. He points to travel restrictions and nightclubs, saying “they need to do the socially responsible thing”.. “We do reserve the right to mandate certification at any point, and I should serve notice now that by end of September… we are planning to make double vaccination a condition of entry”.

Health Minister Nadeem Zahawi also warned that the Government could make use of Covid passports mandatory if venues do not adopt them voluntarily.

Sixty percent of people being admitted to hospital with COVID-19 are unvaccinated, the government’s chief scientific adviser has said.

Earlier, Sir Patrick Vallance told a news briefing that figure was for double-jabbed people. But he later corrected himself on Twitter, saying the original statistic was false.

He posted: “Correcting a statistic I gave at the press conference today, 19 July.

“About 60% of hospitalisations from COVID are not from double-vaccinated people, rather 60% of hospitalisations from COVID are currently from unvaccinated people.”
