THREE hostages, possibly including a pregnant woman, have been seized by a man in Paris claiming to be armed with a “bomb and handgun”. One hostage has been seriously injured, the hostage-taker has claimed.
An armed man is believed to have seized three hostage in Rue des Petites Ecuries, with armed police and firefighters at the scene.
Shocking photos show police decked out in body armour with witnesses warning of “an armed man”.
The man, described by authorities as “unstable”, claims to be in possession of a gun and explosives.
One hostage is “seriously injured” after he hit the victim with a wrench, the hostage-taker told police.
Another was slightly hurt as he fought the hostage-taker before fleeing.
