FYI, the btc futures contract is still not approved by the CFTC. It's a self-certified product by CME. But hey, why not make an ETF?

That's exactly the mistake. If something happens to Binance or Tether it will create a liquidy hole on USD exchanges. You can't exclude Binance b/c they have verified btc holdings.
