BCCDC has some tips for safe sex during the COVID-19 pandemic

But the BCCDC has gone into a bit more detail about best practices for those who decide to take the plunge with a new partner.

In a post on the organization’s website, the BCCDC recommends avoiding face-to-face contact and kissing during sex.

Choose sexual positions that limit face-to-face contact,” the organization says. “Use barriers, like walls (e.g., glory holes), that allow for sexual contact but prevent close face-to-face contact.”

Wearing a mask during sex can also help stop the transmission of the disease, while the BCCDC also recommends washing your body with soap and water before and after can also help.
