While ChatGPT is getting more attention every day, Chinese regulators grow wary of it and reportedly tell tech companies not to offer its services to the public due to the chatbot’s uncensored replies.
According to Nikkei Asia’s sources, Tencent Holdings and Ant Group have been instructed not to offer access to ChatGPT services on their platforms. Companies will also have to report to regulators if they decide to launch their own ChatGPT-like tools.
