Zumper, the apartment site, just released their apartment rents for October. And they are horrifying for the owners of rental properties (but a blessing for renters, of course).

San Francisco and New York, the Covid shutdown leaders, still have the highest apartment rents in the nation. Washington DC is the seventh most expensive city.

San Francisco and New York are seeing huge declines in both 1 and 2 bedroom units.

Oddly, Chicago’s rents are increasing. Two faces have the rental market.
