During the intervention in Syria the Russians complained about the US attacking a dam that, if broken, would’ve killed thousands of people for 100 miles.
The US dismissed this as Russian propaganda. Turns out it wasn’t propaganda.
The special forces operation on the ground deliberately hit the dam with a powerful bunker buster bomb in hopes of causing catastrophic civilian casualties.
