Grandfather of One Covington Student is ACTUALLY a Native American Vietnam Veteran — Unlike Nathan Phillips, Family Responds to Stolen Valor, ‘Shame on Him’ @CassandraRules… via @gatewaypundit
The family of one of the Covington High School students seen in the viral videos is responding to the reports of stolen valor by Nathan Phillips — and saying “shame on him.”
On Tuesday, The Washington Post has had to issue yet another retraction after falsely claiming that far-left Native American activist Nathan Phillips served in the Vietnam War. He didn’t — but this lie was previously used to help raise money for a documentary about his life.
“Correction: Earlier versions of this story incorrectly said that Native American activist Nathan Phillips fought in the Vietnam War. Phillips served in the U.S. Marines from 1972 to 1976 but was never deployed to Vietnam,” the update reads.
The supportive media have also been stealth editing articles to change the wording from him claiming that he was a Vietnam veteran to a “Vietnam era” veteran.
