(CNS News) – On Dec. 9, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced President Joe Biden’s 27th Presidential Drawdown, which includes $275 million in “additional assistance” for Ukraine. This raises the total value of assistance provided to $19.3 billion since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022.
According to a DoD press release, Biden’s 27th drawdown will include the following capabilities:
— “Additional ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS);
— 80,000 155mm artillery rounds;
— Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems equipment;
— Counter air defense capability;
