Donald Trump Just Told All of America He “Doesn’t Give a Damn” about them!

via David Haggith

He said he doesn’t care because America’s biggest trouble is making him RICH! FILTHY RICH!

Trump even told his rally audience that his advisors were saying, “Don’t say that!” But he didn’t care. He said it anyway. This was not thinly veiled language. Trump said he doesn’t care, in the least, about the number-one thing that is driving up the price of everything for everyone and that is most on America’s mind right now:

Speaking at a rally in Georgia on Saturday, October 24, Trump said advisers had warned him against highlighting the financial gains associated with rising oil prices, suggesting the comments would invite criticism over the cost of fuel for ordinary Americans.

In footage of the rally shared online, Trump claimed the US oil and gas industry was making billions of dollars amid the conflict in the Middle East, presenting higher oil prices as a source of financial gains for the country.

Trump, you see, is heavily invested in gas and oil. He’s making bank off of his war, and he just told you how elated he is over that. As a “filthy rich” man (i.e a crude man, dripping in the slimy, black oil) he is obviously so completely out of touch with most Americans that he cannot even understand the simple sense of what his own advisors told him. Americans know all too well there are people in America who always make a fortune off of the next oil war. Those who make big bucks off oil are the deep state that runs the nation to make endless wars in order to make money. They and their banksters are the core of the military industrial complex. But Americans are SICK of oil wars.

Trump said his oil prices are bringing in huge gains for the country. Well, that is true IF “the country” means “Big Oil.” Under Trump’s understanding of America, that is accurate because Big Oil runs the country. Big Oil in the US is making bank hand over fist because so much of its oil is located in the US, so everyone, as Trump pointed out, is rushing to Big Oil in the US to bid up their product, since little is coming out of Ukraine, Russia or the Middle East, and those US companies are making filthy lucre off of their black gold because of the Trump-Iran War. (And Trump’s Venezuela War.) No doubt that is why Trump doesnt’ want the war to end. He’s making a vast fortune off of it. Why kill the good times when you can just kill Iranians?

But here is the problem with that thinking, aside from the killing of Iranians and American warriors, which I’m sure is obvious to most, but apparently needs restating for Trump: MOST of America is not heavily invested in oil. Most of America and MOST AMERICAN COMPANIES are watching their money get chewed away by the high cost of fuels, fertilizers and things like plastics made from oil. Most of America is getting clobbered, while Big Oil, as has always been the case in America, is making bank off of another Middle Eastern oil war! This is EXACTLY what Trump’s supporters said they didn’t want.

Trump’s response: He doesn’t “give a damn!” (In fact, he loves it because he’s getting rich, which in his narrow mind, means America is getting rich because that is the America he knows.) Remember his words every time you grab the hose on the fuel pump. TRUMP LITERALLY TOLD YOU HE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT HOW MUCH THAT TANK FULL IS COSTING BECAUSE IT IS MAKING A small percentage OF PEOPLE IN AMERICA, INCLUDING HIMSELF, VERY, VERY RICH.

“Our country is making hundreds of billions of dollars because of what’s happened in the Middle East, because they’re coming to Texas and they’re coming to Oklahoma and they’re coming to Louisiana and they’re taking that oil,” Trump said.

NO!

TRUMP is making billions of dollars because Trump is part of the group making hundreds of billions of dollars—the group that is helping him build a massive gold-plated ballroom on the east end of the White House where YOU will never be invited to dance and dine. But his billionaire buddies who are making bank off of oil will all be there, celebrating their great gains with expensive glasses of the best, golden-colored champagne.

Take that to the bank or spend it.

“My people say, please don’t mention that, Sir, people are paying a little higher,” Trump said, adding that he expected gas prices to fall.

“I can just see the fake headlines,” Trump said. “President Trump is talking about all the money they’re making while people are suffering at the pump.”

“But I said, ‘I don’t give a damn, I’m gonna say it: We’re making a frickin fortune,’” he added.

Who is “WE?”

“We means “he.” HE’s making “a frickin fortune.” If you piled a lot of money into oil, you might be doing well with him. Most are not. Even for those retirement funds, most 401(k)s don’t have an option for “invest in US oil and gas only.”

Want another completely out-of-touch comment?

Trump went on to claim that Americans were “paying lower than Biden and Obama and they don’t have nuclear weapons,” apparently referring to Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

Paying lower than Biden or Obama? Do Biden and Obama buy their fuel somewhere more expensive than the rest of us? Most likely he meant to say gasoline and diesel prices are lower now than they were under Biden or Obama. If so, I guess he doesn’t pump his own gas any more than out-of-touch Father George Bush ever bought his own socks when he went on a sock-buying trip to encourage Americans to spend money at Christmas and marveled at the store price scanners that he had never seen before—“Well, look at that! Isn’t that amazing?”—even though Americans had already been seeing them for the better part of a decade. Out of touch with Americans!

As you can see, Obama’s gasoline prices at $3.93/gal never went as high as prices are now under Trump or as they had reached under Bush, though prices briefly shot up under Biden higher than now when Putin first invaded Ukraine. However, the Ukraine war was not a war Biden started by firing the first missiles like Trump started this war with intensive missile firing and bombing, and the prices during Biden’s term rapidly came back down below where Trump’s prices are today.

Under Obama, the U.S. national average gas price peaked at $3.93 per gallon in May 2011, and under Biden, it peaked at $5.06 in June 2022, according to govargus.com.

US diesel prices are even a little worse today than gasoline.

Trumpoline is expensive fuel that has bounced very high in price, and it is going to jump much higher because the problem is so much bigger than the brief panic that hit at the start of the Ukraine War.

Oil prices top $113 on worries of Iran-US escalations after midterms

Well, hold it! That was Thursday when I pulled that headline to share this week after publishing Thursday’s editorial, but now that price is up at $115.8/bbl for Brent, and it has been hovering around $116 ever since Thursday. If you look at all the headlines under the war section today, you’ll see the prices of crude oil and fuels have VERY LITTLE chance of going down appreciably anytime soon. Lots more war appears to be in the planning with much greater intensity. Trump is keeping a lid on the war going into the elections because profiteering more off of war to get even higher gas prices for himself and his Mar-a-Lago ballroom buddies before the elections will likely cost him more voters. After the elections are over, he doesn’t care about that either.

Since Trump doesn’t care at all about high fuel prices that are starting to raise the cost of everything because he and his billionaire buddies are making bank off of it, then, when Trumpflation fully kicks in, he gets to fully own the inflation because … he didn’t care. Instead, he rejoiced in how the war was making America richer (for the top 10% as it always does, which is why we have “forever wars”).

A snapshot look at the war scenario that pervades today’s headlines shows these high fuel prices are only going higher:

The US and Israel have reportedly drawn up plans for renewed attacks on Iran after the elections next month, according to the New York Times, citing unnamed US officials.

The United States has ordered nonessential embassy personnel to depart Saudi Arabia….

President Trump has said he will not attack Iran before the midterms and has suggested that fuel prices will fall afterward.

Trump has been promising fuel prices will fall for the past seven months. Have they? Then why listen to the endless lies? He’s been promising the war will be over soon all of those months, too!

Naturally, Trump’s political enemies are making the most of his out-of-touch comments:

Governor Gavin Newsom reposted footage of Trump’s remarks at the rally commenting: “Congratulations to Big Oil on their very successful, record-profits presidency.”

Trump gives his enemies plenty of fuel for attacking him. No fuel shortage there.

Imagine what your fuel price will be after the election now that all of the headlines below point toward intensified war with Iran pulling out all the stops during its retaliation this time as it promises it will.

Man, will Trump make bank!

They hardly even make banks big enough to hold the wealth Trump & Co. will pile up when that larger phase of the war gets going! It won’t even matter if Trump limits his new attacks to just cleaning out the rest of Iran’s nuclear program (whatever is left of it after he “decimated” and “obliterated” it in the summer of ’25). Iran has stated that, if Trump renews his war efforts at all, it will start blowing up the whole Middle East and beyond—civilians and anything. No more restraint of any kind.

Signs of the Times

With talk like that …

Unsurprisingly, Trump is losing the support of Christians, a good number of whom formed the core of the Trump cult for years. I, being a follower of Jesus, am relieved to see a number of my friends finally pulling out of the cult.

I’m sure that all of Trump’s cussing hasn’t helped much as it has increased in recent months, but cussing would be the least of my worries. His involvement in the Epstein files and his obvious coverup, lost him a lot of support, and that far-more-evil news got a little worse today:

House Judiciary Committee Democrats on Monday released an unsigned staff report laying out what they call “the case against Donald Trump emerging in the Epstein Files and DOJ’s desperate efforts to cover it up,

They are gearing up, of course, for impeachment round three, where they’ve always failed to take down the Teflon Don. Their new report lays out one more new claim of rape against Donald Trump by another Epstein victim that had remained hidden in the Trump redactions.

“The women who survived Epstein deserve to be heard,” the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., said in a statement. “Congress must have the complete files required by law, and an independent special counsel must investigate Epstein’s co-conspirators and DOJ’s cover-up and ensure that state and foreign prosecutors have the evidence they need to pursue justice.”

The more than 50-page report alleges that Trump was “an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of young women in the mid-to-late 1990s.” Although it also contains at least one entirely new allegation against the president, it provides no direct evidence other than the woman’s own conversations with Judiciary Committee staff.

Allegations are not proof, by any means, but we keep seeing more and more stuff covered up in the files just because it points fingers at Trump. The coverup is starting to speak louder than the allegations. Methinks he doth protest too much.

For years, Trump has denied that he engaged in any sexual misconduct with any woman connected to Jeffrey Epstein, and he has also said that he knew nothing about Epstein’s crimes.

The report also repeats several other longstanding, unsubstantiated allegations against Trump.

Don’t forget that Team Trump originally stated they had seen all the files, especially Pam Blondi, and they said, at first, that Trump wasn’t mentioned at all in them! Whether any allegation against Trump is ever proven, the incredibly resistant foot dragging, counter to the new laws demanding full disclosure with VERY LIMITED redactions, has angered many of Trump’s past supporters. Why the monumental foot dragging? Most believe he is either protecting his rapist cronies or protecting himself or likely both. Why else constantly do your best to redact as much as you possibly can and even hide entire files long after they were demanded?

The report also suggests that DOJ officials, including the attorney general, are “doing everything they can to keep the American people in the dark” about Trump’s alleged participation in Epstein’s abuse of young women.

“Attorney General Blanche may have engaged in criminal obstruction of justice while acting on a mission to protect Trump,” the report alleges.

The report lays out how Blanche’s meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell “potentially constituted witness tampering and obstruction of an official proceeding.”

She did immediately receive that cosy bump to a nicer prison environment. It’s hard to understand why, as the madame of the nation’s biggest brothel of teenage girls, she was entitled to nicer surrounds. She was the lead recruiter of underage women who were pressed or enticed by wealth to provide sexual services … for years!

“Blanche’s apparent instructions not to discuss a specific Epstein victim, and how that victim could implicate Donald Trump, could easily run afoul of 18 U.S.C. § 1512, which forbids hindering or delaying the communication of information relating to the potential commission of a federal offense to a law enforcement officer, as well as corruptly influencing the testimony of any person in an official proceeding — such as a congressional interview and investigation,”

You’d think.

However, Trump has moved on to other sex talk that is probably not gelling well with a lot of his Christian supporters. He’s sounding more and openly gay by the day. It seems every rally now includes clips of Trump carrying on about the magnificence of … well, let me just use his words:

I’m examining his body. His ass was like a big piece of muscle. His feet were massive. His hands—his fingers looked like sausages. And then I looked at his neck. And then I patted him on the shoulder and I hurt my hand.

He’s been talking admiringly a lot lately about the butts of other men and how impressed he is with them. One has to wonder how that helps shore up the Christian vote that put him in the White House. This isn’t a one-off. It now comes up at rally after rally. Trump just can’t stop talking about it. He does it so much, he seems obsessed:

“I can say whatever I want, and you’d all laugh.” Yay!

So, now we find Christians who were big supporters of Trump for years finally saying things like …

  • “I find him to be a moral void…. I don’t think there is a moral centre to him or a moral frame. He’s just a transactional person that tries to get the most he can out of people.”
  • “Look, Trump’s been my guy. I voted for him three times. I’ve defended him, and I can’t do it any more.”
  • “What surprised me was that actually white evangelicals responded negatively in that week to the AI Jesus images. So we have really good evidence that that did actually sort of generate moral resistance from white evangelicals in his base.”
  • “The president’s involvement in Iran has played a key role in [my disillusionment]. I believed and hoped he was sincere about keeping us out of conflicts…. It was a very important topic for me, and then it appears he’s either changed his mind, or he was lying, or he was compelled otherwise.”

Mr Trump’s Easter Sunday post, in which he used profane language to demand Iran reopen the Strait of Hormuz before signing off with “Praise be to Allah”, was a major factor in turning Mr Mullis against him.

“That’s a departure, almost a 180, probably from what Christ would have told us to do or actually did while he was here,” Mr Mullis added.

The blinders are slowly coming off.

For others, it is the botched handling of the Epstein files that has turned them away from the US president.

Mr Trump spent his presidential campaign promising to expose conspiracy theories covered up by the “deep state” and release the files relating to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted paedophile.

The entire White House team has been stonewalling ever since … and they still are.

The delayed release of papers related to the case, coupled with the revelation when they were published his name featured many times, created intense political scrutiny from his own base and was the point of no return for many….

Trisha Hope, a so-called “Front Row Joe” known for her regular appearances at the front of Mr Trump’s campaign rallies, decided she could no longer support him after he responded to a reporter’s question in July 2025: “Are we still talking about the Epstein files?”

She told Politico: “It sounds crazy but it was like a light switch went on and a veil lifted and I saw him for who he was.”

It’s about time. True Trump Derangement Syndrome is slowly lifting like a fog that covered the eyes of many.

Daniel Dietrich, a pastor from Michigan, told The Telegraph: “[Trump] is named in the Epstein files tens of thousands of times, and I think it’s clear that he is right there in the centre of everything that was happening.”

It certainly always was to many of us.

While a crisis of faith may be developing—faith in Donald Trump—at least the president has finally started getting honest about fuel prices: He simply doesn’t give damn because he and many of those he knows are getting rich off them. And that is what matters most. To him.

Sorry about the language, but I’m just quoting the president.
