Elizabeth Warren calls for 25th amendment to remove Trump!

Sharing is Caring!

It’s time we invoke the Constitution to remove President Donald Trump from office, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Thursday.

In light of the anonymous op-ed by a senior Trump official published Wednesday in The New York Times, Warren told CNN that officials should consider using the provisions of the 25th Amendment, which allows the vice president to take over in case the president is removed from office, dies, resigns or is incapacitated.

“I will worry about that if it ever happens,” Trump said. “If it does happen, it’s your fault because you did not go out to vote … it’s the only way it could happen.”

Trump: A ‘third-world country’ tries to impeach leaders who haven’t done ‘anything wrong’

President Trump suggested that the United States would turn into a “third-world country” if Democrats tried to impeach him should they regain control of the House, because he has not done “anything wrong.”

“You’ll have a country that’s going to turn into a third-world country because if the opposite party becomes president, every time before it even starts, before you even found out whether or not he or she is going to do a great job, they’ll say, ‘We want to impeach him,'” Trump said at a campaign rally in Montana on Thursday.

“If that happened, every time a Republican or a Democrat – opposite – got elected president. Let’s say a Democrat gets elected … and let’s say we have a Republican House. We will impeach that Democrat, right?” Trump said, warning against the idea.

The president then told his supporters his impeachment would be their “fault” if they didn’t go out and vote during November’s midterm elections.

Trump said during an August interview with “Fox and Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt that the market would crash if he were forced out of office.
