No matter what happens, I love all of you and am so impressed with the infinite ways people found to be the drop of truth in an ocean of lies. The truth always wins.
Look at us: a bunch of schizophrenic, paranoid, delusional, tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists who managed to do something that, win or lose, will be talked about for generations.
And I don’t mean out reddit posts and comments. I mean the everyday people who chose to do something when confronted with evil.
It’s easy to go along with what the popular crowd endorses. Life is simply more tolerable when you avoid conflict, ingratiate yourself to those in power, and parrot the slogans of the celebrities, politicians, and social elite.
When faced with the threat of loss of the material, whether it be a job, money, or status, This World makes it so tempting to compromise our virtues. Far too many have sacrificed everything that led to a stable life for an idea. And this idea is something materialists in the modern era simply can’t comprehend: freedom.
Freedom is scary for many people. The idea that you have complete control over your life is likely terrifying for those who think people are a “product of their environment.”
Every single day you refuse to further a lie, you are fighting an evil that has led to the sickness of our time. People have forgotten about love. COVID has showed how scared most people are of dying. And those who fear dying are those with regrets. Those who know they’ve left things unsaid and undone. Those who have no faith that our existence has meaning, purpose, value, and truth.
Humanity isn’t meant to stare at screens for hours a day while sitting in a chair. Life isn’t about the things you buy, the awards you receive, the money you acquire, or the goals you achieve.
Life is about love. And love can not exist without truth. Love has not meaning between people who are dishonest.
There is no meaning to life without truth. If nothing has truth, then there is no purpose in human interactions.
The modern world is trying to convince us that we are a random mistake, our life has no purpose beyond serving the elites, and that there is no objective truth.
The purpose of life is the feeling you experience when you are with someone who makes you feel loved in an evil world. Make no mistake friends: we live in an evil world. And that is the miracle of love: it provides meaning despite the absurdity and hatred of this world.
Despite never meeting anyone on this subreddit, I have felt the love from this community in my life. Everyday, someone on this subreddit makes me smile. And that smile is worth more than 1,000 scowls.
Never underestimate the difference you can make. Never believe your life isn’t a miracle and an act of love. We all hurt. We all cry. We all suffer. But love is what gets us through it.
As long as we can love, we have not lost.
The last week is a testament that nothing is forever. Despite the situation in Canada, the convoy has restored hope among tens of millions of people across the world. More convoys are scheduled not just in Canada, but in the US and western Europe.
And you know what? None of that would be possible without the millions of people who have refused to further the lie. Who, against all types of pressure, have never wavered from their commitment to truth. And still countless others have found the truth after being misled and are now fighting alongside us.
The Australian, despite facing brutal militarized police, are not just engaging in convoys and camp outs in the capitols: they’re also running for office.
When fighting monsters, never forget to take a moment to appreciate the love in this world and do not lose yourself to the abyss. Remember that you are never alone. Just because you don’t see your allies doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
This is our generations Berlin Wall. Our wall is not tangible. And the wall we must deconstruct is one we helped build. We are all guilty of dehumanization, whether we spend too much time on the internet or fail to call people because texting and emojis is easier. We’ve forgotten to wave at strangers. We’ve forgotten to compliment others for no reason.
We’ve forgotten to see the suffering around us because we were doing well. We’ve ignored the homeless. We’ve ignored the person having a bad day in the store, instead rushing through the checkout line so we’d save a few minutes we would inevitable waste. We’ve listened to sad songs when we were sad so we could wallow in self pity.
We forgot to open the doors for strangers and congratulate people who are about to have a child.
We all fell short because none of us are perfect. Humility and forgiveness are a necessity right now, especially since many people are “switching sides” and realizing they were lied to by the government.
A failure to resist evil is complicity with evil. And the simplest way to resist evil is a non participation in lies and to love one another.
This week has shown us how standing together can change the world. What started as a few vehicles in a convoy has sparked a working class movement across the world.
Don’t ever doubt the outcome. Truth and love will always triumph. You are never alone. You are loved.
And we will manifest an Age of Light, Love, and Liberty. There is not time for doubt. You repeat whatever mantra you need to reassure yourself of our impending victory. Believe with everything you are and with everything you have that this tyranny will end and freedom will prevail.
