It’s all a complete racket. DOJ needs to dig into this asap and not just for recent aid.
The real purpose of aid to Israel is to make a select few in the US filthy rich.
US Foreign aid to Israel: 74% of these funds must be spent purchasing US goods and services. More recently, in fiscal year 2014, the US provided $3.1 billion in foreign military aid to Israel. Israel also benefits from about $8 billion of loan guarantees.
In fiscal year 2017 (10/1/2016 to 09/30/2017), the U.S. government allocated the following amounts for aid: Total economic and military assistance: $49.87 billion.
How much does Israel give in foreign aid? Israeli foreign aid ranks low among OECD nations, spending less than 0.1% of its GNI on development assistance, as opposed to the recommended 0.7%.
Healthcare in Israel is universal
All of Israel’s nine public universities, and some of its colleges, are subsidized by the government, and students pay only a small part of the actual cost of tuition.
Israel was ranked 19th on the 2016 UN Human Development Index, indicating “very high” development. It is considered a high-income country by the World Bank. Israel also has a very high life expectancy at birth.
The Global Competitiveness Report of 2016 to 2017 ranked Israel as having the world’s second most innovative economy. It was also ranked 18th among 188 world nations on the UN’s Human Development Index, which places it in the category of “Very Highly Developed.”
