France: City Replaces “Mother” and “Father” with “Parent 1/2”

We’ve come a long way since the “two consenting adults in private” thing.

But more needs to be done.

This isn’t a big deal for me.

I’ve been telling my kids to call me “Parent #1” since they were born. My wife – actually, technically, I mean that woman locked in my basement who produces the babies – is known to the kids as “that bitch with the milkies.”

I’m fine with changing her name to “Parent #2.”

Whatever.
